Bamba Oliano is the National Director of Private Sector Promotion and Country Competitiveness, Ministry of Investments and Private-Public Partnerships, Republic of Guinea. He is responsible for working on the country’s performance indicators to promote its attractiveness to potential investors. To this end, he sets up promotion mechanisms for the various sectors of activity to encourage the creation of businesses and to promote the growth of existing ones. The promotion of young and female entrepreneurship is also at the heart of its program.
Previously, he was the Head of Private Investment Promotion Department at the Private Investment Promotion Agency (APIP-Guinea), and in charge of commodity derivatives operations at Citigroup and Barclays Bank in London.
Mr. Oliano holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Management (Finance) from the HES of the School of Economics and Business in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and graduated from Master’s Degree Program in International Business and Management from the ESSEC Management School in Paris. Mr. Oliano is fluent in French, English, Dutch, Soussou and Malinké.
