Surasak Glahan is Deputy Op-Ed Editor of the Bangkok Post, Thailand’s largest circulated English-language newspaper established since 1946 (www.bangkokpost.com). In addition to selecting stories and editing copies for the paper’s opinion-editorial pages, he also regularly writes editorials, which reflect the newspaper’s stance on particular current affairs, and commentaries for the section. Prior to joining the Op-Ed pages, he was a journalist for the Post covering mainly politics, justice and consumers affairs.
His career also includes years of working on public communications and media relations for regional inter-governmental and international non-government organisations such as The Mekong River Commission and The Rockefeller Foundation.
