Sambath Bun is currently an Executive Director and Secretariat General of Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC). His focus is on supporting young entrepreneurs and MSMEs eco-system in Cambodia. Besides managing the operation of the association, he contributes to the young entrepreneurs supporting policy working with different stakeholders and government agencies, especially promoting SMEs development via Public Private Partnership.
The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) was established as a volunteer-driven non-profit organization whose mandate is to empower young entrepreneurs of Cambodia to enhance youth entrepreneurship and success of youth-owned businesses by creating a platform for networking, sharing, learning, and synergizing business opportunities, thereby contributing to productive employments and economic development that build the next generation economy for Cambodia. YEAC has become a leading business association in Cambodia in contributing to policy and government regulation in supporting MSMEs and young entrepreneurs in Cambodia.
Sambath received his Master in Public Policy, specialized in Development Policy, and Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Australian National University back in 2013. Prior to that he got Bachelor in Education in English from Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2007. Professionally, he has been working for more than 10 years in different profession from civil society, private sector and business association.
